Having experienced the serenity of rural living in earlier years where values of our country was founded were foundational, it has been on our heart to create an emerging community where we could again experience this with neighbors who were also searching for a place of tranquility away from the congestion and turmoil of the city.

Coming west from mid-America, we were in awe when the Spanish Peaks, and the Green Horn Mountain, with the snow-covered Sangre de Cristos in the background, came into view. Then we arrived at Maria Lake, with its blue radiance. We knew we had found our retreat.

Even though we are able to spend only part of the time at Maria Lake, the break from the city restores our soul. Maria Lake is the place to call HOME.
